Meet Haley, Winner of Pizza for Life!

Jul 21, 2017 | Food

To celebrate growth, progress and purpose, we asked our fans: “What does it mean to Be Revolutionary?” We received thousands of awesome submissions – you made us laugh, you made us cry – thank you to all who participated!

Grand Prize Winner

After careful review of all submissions and long deliberation, we chose our winner of ‘Pizza for Life’ – Haley! We were inspired by her drive to start a business at such a young age and her big heart.  Here’s a brief excerpt from our chat:

Q: Let’s get to know Haley. Can you tell us about yourself?

A: I’m from Nebraska and moved to California two months ago to live with my family. I currently train horses in Malibu and I am working to start a business with my family!

Q: Very cool, what type of business?

A: I’m working on a retail line (shirts, jewelry and accessories) for kids and adults, with a mission to bring awareness to animal welfare. A portion of proceeds will go to benefit the Hope and Wellness Foundation, a tortoise rescue and other organizations that work to save animals’ lives. It’s set to launch Fall 2017!

Q: What led to your passion for animal welfare?

A: I grew up saving animals. Over the years, I’ve helped save over 300 horses and 75 dogs. It’s a passion that my family shares.

Q: What motivated you to enter the #BeRevolutionary campaign?

A: I just LOVE pizza. I actually have a pizza tattoo (yea, college decisions). And when I used to fly out to Los Angeles to visit my family, PizzaRev would be my first stop, even before I’d go home. It’s my fave 🙂
